The Challenge

The client, Majriti SRTM, particularly in effectively communicating the complexity of its Mars mission to a broad audience. With such a highly technical subject, ensuring the content is both informative and accessible to users without a background in space science can be difficult. Another challenge lies in maintaining the website’s performance, especially with rich media like high-resolution images and videos that detail the mission's technology and goals. Additionally, ensuring smooth user navigation through the diverse content sections, such as the mission objectives, technology, and challenges, is important to avoid overwhelming visitors. Finally, given the international scope of the mission, maintaining up-to-date, collaborative information on the website is essential to reflect the ongoing global partnerships and advancements in space technology.

Our Approach

Our strategy was to build a robust and adaptable website. We chose a reliable technology stack that could handle the complexity of an e-commerce platform while allowing for quick design iterations.

Platform Selection: We built the site using WordPress and WooCommerce for a powerful and scalable e-commerce foundation.

Design & Layout: We used Elementor for page building and implemented custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to achieve unique design layouts that went beyond standard templates.

Performance & Security: To ensure a smooth user experience, the site was optimized for speed with WP Rocket. We also implemented a custom WordPress security solution to protect the site from potential threats.

Core Functionality: We integrated form automation and a secure payment gateway to ensure all essential e-commerce functions, from browsing to checkout, were seamless and reliable.

The Results

We successfully completed the project and delivered a comprehensive e-commerce solution that met all the client's requirements. The final website provided a clean and modern user interface, a robust backend for managing products and orders, and a secure payment process. Despite the demanding design process, we were able to deliver a professional digital platform ready to handle online book sales.
